how to copy standard application lo local DC

Hi

I have a standard ESS Address application for Spain,which SAP did not implemented for Columbia which uses Spainsh Language.

Now i iwant to Imort this Standard ESS Spainsh application to NWDS and Have copy of this ESS application in under Track(local dc), and start Customizing it,if i customize it,that should not effect actual(Standard)Application.

Can you tell me how to achieve this with out effecting the standard ESS application.

Hi Rahul,

1. Create a DC in your local developement track.

2. Create the ESS DC into your NWDS (Go to Dev Configurations perspective , browse to ESS Track-> <your addr>DC -> right click and select create project )

3.Go to <Inst.Drive>:Documents and Settings<user>.dtc<track>DCssap.comess<DCname>

copy entire _comp

4. Go to your local DC

Go to <Inst.Drive>:Documents and Settings<user>.dtcLocalDevelopmentDCssap.com<DC>

replace _comp with the _comp

5.Select your DC copy, right click

Developemnt Component -> Build

If you get any errors then Repair and Reload the DC

Now in the studio you will have copy of your project.
