Validity of project

Dear All.............

Can we maintain validity for project.

Actually we can revoke.....all status in process.

I want to maintain to project one dead date..

After crossing project should not able to revoke status.

Any inputs...................

Hi P.D. Start date / Finis date is the validity of the project...

Now coming to forbid the revoke system status after certain date is not possible bu std.. SAP, as per I know.

Chekc user status may help in this regards up to some extent.

Say for ex. create user status SNOT(System status change not allowed) which forbid all type of revoke status related business transaction. Active the same when you don't wanted to allow the user to change the sys. status... ........

Create one More user status SALL down the line to it. if at all you can required to change status of object after SNOT (System status change allowed ) you can activate this and does your business........ ( But don't make this regular practice, otherwise it doesn't make sense )

One another work around is that lock master data after certain date... but in that case it will affect your regular business txn.
