Hi Gurus,

where I can find documents or manuals with syntax and sample for validations and assignments?

I need to transform, normalize and check values in my Source files before updating the Destination Table.

Hi Mauro,

the validation syntax and examples with expected results are available in MDM datamanager ref guide. I feel it gives the complete solution. For updating the source file before importing to destination pls follow the below procedure:

Go to import manager>select the file to be imported>open the map or map manually the fields>right click any field and you will find many transformations like..case normalization,replace with etcc..You can even select more than one of these with value conversion factors.

One more way of normalizing is also to work on the excel sheet.
