SAPGUI going away?

Is anyone aware of a roadmap for SAPGui? Some users are under the impression that it is going away in the future.

Do you feel that more and more people will access SAP from the Portal and not from the front-end? Just curious.

That 's no matter of feeling.

It simply depends on the application.

Hie,

take a look at note 147519. It is stated that:

"You can be certain that as long as SAP supports any application based on Dynpro technology there will be a supported SAP GUI for Windows release."

along with the maintenance period for the various release of the SAPgui.
