Task List Operation Sellection Based on Equipment Charcateristic

Dear Experts,

I have 3 operations, 10, 20 & 30 in a General Task List. The Maintenance Plan contains an item of equipment and a strategy. The equipment has a characteristic 'colour' = red or blue

When the plan is scheduled and an order created I require operation 10 to be automatically created only if the equipment Characteristic colour = red. Otherwise operation 10 is not created.

I have tried using a profile but then the operation is created only on the value in the profile and not in the equipment.

Can any one help?

Hi David,

You need to write Object Dependency for the Operation. For this condition you need to write a Pre-condition. Please refer to the following help link.
