Data migration of in process QC inspection operation

Hi Experts,

During data migration of open production orders with in process QC operations, the system will not allow to create inspection lot if the order is created with referencing a routing.

But open production order migration will not reference a routing, but create operations based on the current status of the production order in legacy system.

Is there a way to generate Inspection lot for these kind of production orders ? Has anybody come across a requirement like this ?

you can use Manual Inspection lot generation option.

Hi AP,

System will not allow manual inspection lot generation of '03' type for a production order, if the prod ord is not referenced from a routing or ref operation set.
