delivery document creation

is there any way to stop the creation of delivery document when there is no stock available.

Hi

The settings in delivery item category (explained in the above replies) is regarding the values in the quantity field of the delivery document. This is to check to avoid creation of a delivery document with zero quantities and it is not related to the availability of stocks.

To my knowledge, your requirement is not possible in the standard. You should go for some enhancement.

hi,

yes u can have the said functionality.

in delivery item category ( 0VLP) t code , 'check quantity field' make sure that u have the value "B" -Situation rejected with an error message, system will not create the delivery for the item with zero quantitties and also make sure that the item category is relevant for Availability check.

Yes, we can do by configuring the Delivery Item Category TAN using Tcode. 0VLP(ZeroVLP). Click Details button.

Under "Quanity" Header Choose

"Check Quantity 0" = C

This will throw an error message and will dismiss the situation.

Hi,

go to 0vlp (Zero V L P ) select ur delivery itemcategory go to quantity tab, this tab related to quantity checking of availability.

check qty Zero--

check minimum qty--

check over delivery---

i think these are the settings and make them error warning.

Hi Deepu,

In the delivery item category customizing (tx 0VLP), there is a field where you can set the system reaction if no stock is available.
