Time linit exceed CIF error encountered when transfering Sales order

Hi All,

Queues are stuch in APO inbound with errror Time Limit exceed. The Sales order has many line items.

Please suggest a solution to this. Is there a limit to the number of line items than can be present in sales order which we are transfering from R/3 to APO.

Apply SAP note 1254364, it will solve your issue.

Hi Biswajit,

The error "Time limit exceeded" will pop up if more queues or Luws are trying to update in the destination location where there is problem in updating. This can be caused due to various reasons.

1) Sysfails (Need to check the nature of sysfail and take corrective action)

2) Livecache performance (Need to check livecache whether performance is low and then take corrective action)

3) Master data errors if any.(The same will get reflected as sysfails)

In order the reset the queues affected with this error, select those queues, goto the main menu, goto "Edit" and then press "Reset status". This needs to be done once the corrective action is taken.

If reset status is done without taking corrective action, the same queues will come and occupy again the inbound area.
