field status in SRM

Hello all,

In R/3 it is possible to make certain SAP fields required, display only, suppress for example by using field status variants

Is there a way to do this in SRM as well? If so where in SRM can I change the field status of certain SRM fields

Kind regards

Hi,

You can also use the screen variants for changing the appearance of the fields in SRM.

Please go through the transaction SHD0 and BADI BBP_SCREENVARIANT to know more about the screen variants.

Thanks,

Pradeep

Hi,

In SRM you make the fields hide and display in the custom implementation of BBP_CUF_BADI_2.

As normal we can make the field required while creating it in the module pool....if it is not possible then make a check in the DOC_CHECK(custom implementaion) badi, display error or warning message.

Hello,

For custom user fields, you can use BBP_CUF_BADI_2. For the standard fields, you can use BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI.

I hope this helps.

Regards, Dean.
