Hi SD gurus
We have scenario where contract is created based on quotation. When the quotation is refered during the contract creating stage - in the document flow - the quotation set to be complete.
How this can be achieved ? is this can be set in the config - if yes then how ?
If not config - which method can be achieved?
Kindly give valuable suggestions/advice on this scenario.
Regards
PP
Hi PP
As you are creating Contract with ref to Quotation and as in the document flow the quotation is set to complete , so go to VOV7 of quotation item category and change the Completion Rule . Then the document flow of Quotation will be open until you copy the quotation completely to contract order.

Hi Srinath
The complete rule is been set to B - Item quantity is completed after full quantity has been referenced.
Is the rule has to be bet to E - Item is completed after full target value is referenced?
or
is there any other option to get the reflected in the document flow as the Quotation is completed when the contract is created?
Kindly advise.

Hi PP
Keep the completion rule feild blank . So if you keep the completion rule feild blank then until you dont copy the Quotation data to the next document Completely Quotation will be open . But once you copy the Quotation data completely to the next document it will be Closed .Once the data is completely copied then the quotation will get closed
