item not relevent for billing when trying to create billing w.rt delivery

Hi All

When trying to create billing for Delivery getting error message - item not relevent for billing.

I had gone through the sales item category configaration settings but in item category, in billing relevance, had given D-Relevent for performa.

checked delivery doc no, item level-> Financial processing tab -> under billing document we have to fields

1. billing status is A-Not yet processed &

2.intercompany billing status is blank- that means not relevent.

Please let me know what going wrong here & what more needs to be done to get delivery item, billed.

Hi,

In VOV7 for your item line category maintain Billing Relevance A(delivery-related billing document)

In V0V6 for schedule line category mark the option item.r.f.del

Your qn is not clear about what process you are doing

If you are doing intracompany STO with delivery means then the item category will be NLN with billing relevance as D proforma billing

If you are doing intercompany STO with delivery means then the item category will be NLC with billing relevance is not D it should be A delivery related billing

If intracompany between delivery type NL to Billing type F8 copying requirements should be 009 at header level and 010 at item level for item category NLN

If intercompany between delivery type NLCC to Billing type IV copying requirements should be 014 at header level and 018 at item level for item category NLC

Check for this

Item not relevent for billing means either billing relevance is missing in item category in VOV7 or copy controls should be wrong

The mistake should most likely be in either of these two

After making the necessary corrections pls log off for a minute and the relog and create a fresh cycle and see

Dont test it with existing delivery or the delivery with which you have done the test

Whenever a copy control settings or item category controls are changed it should be tested with a new data
