hi Manoj, thanks for your reply

I can't run the script from the link you gave buat I've chek on DB02, the autoextend set to YES

but my question is "why the size increasing now?" I always monitor the free space from day to day.

Is there any background job related to that tablespace??? in what condition the tablespace size can increase automatically expect from autoextend?

I think I didn't create new background job

Has the ts really grown? Or is there just 2% more free space? In the history in DB02 you can see that.

I've never seen that but must admit i never paid attention to it. May be some 'reorg-job' has deleted some old data in the ts. I'd post the question in the oracle forum gere on sdn.

97% is still pretty much

Hi Rosa

> Thanks for posting my question to oracle forum

I meant i 'would' post the question there, not i 'did' ;-). That wouldn't make much sense, cause all upcoming questions could only be answered by you.

But at least, Manoj answered your question already, autoextend is active and on (edit:) 8.3. some more space was needed and so the ts was extended automatically.
