I m using a file receiver adapter (NFS) to write a file on the ERP file system from PI system.

Below is the error which i m getting

Marked transaction for rollback for meesage 001a6449-0f02-1dde-8393-cd28cea69e16(INBOUND). Reason: Target directory '
<system IP>\saploc\trans\tmp' does not exist and cannot be created.

How will the system recognize the user which is used to create the file ? What needs to be done for this?

have you checked the network path at Operating System level.

Try this.............

\\<system IP>\saploc\trans\tmp

Sneha,

The slashes that you have provide in the path are wrong....it should be '/' .

Also check that the IP that you are providing is the IP of the XI server itself or iin the same domain as the XI server

Hope this helps

Hi

Using NFS u can write the file in XI directories only not on other system

If u want to write in other System (ECC in u r case) u shud use FTP protocol.

NFS ===> xi local path

other path ==> use FTP protocol

thx

local machine for test purposes. Else you need a separate FTP server to be configured and kept for all scenarios.
