Why is approval of PO required when SC has workflow approvals set ?

Hi Experts,

In our project workflows, SC requires an approval as per the value limit. And PO created immd'ly after generation of SC but that PO also needs approval.

Why is approval of PO required when SC has workflow approvals set ?

Hi,

Please check whether the workflow for PO approval has been activated due to which the PO (generated from approved SC) required approval.

You can check in transaction SWE2 and de-activate the event linkage for the PO(obejct type "BUS2201") approval workflow if you dont want the approval for PO.

Hi Pankaj ,

It is not mandatory to have a approval workflow for PO which is generated from approved shopping cart.

If the client requirement is there, we can configure the approval for PO eventhough generated from approved

shopping cart.

If you do not need workflow for PO you can define Start conditions for WS14000075.
