FM/SRM - Budget Availability check causing locks.

Hi All,

We have budget Availability check in FM is running as a background program every other hour, and locks up any transaction involving budgets in the system for the duration of the check. I trying to see other possibilites to stop this or reduce lock time. Please advise. <Removed>

What is the FM name? Is it custom FM or SAP standard FM ?
