CATS data entry to a network activity with DAY results in confirmation zero

CATS data entry to a network activity with unit DAY results in confirmation with actual work amount zero.

We have setup our system for timesheet data input in units of DAY (through CAT2 and ESS) however the entries are transferred to PS with zero amounts.

Direct confirmation in PS (CN25) works fine.

Further examination revealed that CATSPS table has field CATSHOURS only and field CATSQUATITY (which is available in CATSDB and CATSCO) is missing, and when reporting in units of DAY the CATSDB field CATSHOURS gets zero values.

Are you trying to enter the number of days worked or the number of hours worked each day? Is the unit of measure consistent across work center capacity, activity type planning, activity detail data and the one entered in CATS?

We are trying to post the number of days worked (our requirement is to allow postings larger than 1 for one single day, 1.5 for example, for billing purposes).

The unit is consistent across all the relevant MD (work center, Activity Type, Network activity, and CATS), further more the zero confirmation we are getting is with the correct unit of measure - DAY.
