Hi Goyal,

Thanks for your faster answer!

I´ve the entry in the host file:

IP Adress host.domain.ext

Will need to push host.domain.ext:50100/irj/portal ????

Hello Ruben

"If portal is on separate J2EE, the Web AS Host Name on System Landscape configuration for BW in Portal --> System administration --> System Configuration should be pointing to Portal

So entries should be:

Web AS Host name: <Portal full host name>: <J2EE port>

Web AS path: /irj/portal"

as posted earlier

have you made these settings

It should be like : <full hostname of the portal>:<J2EE port>

dont add http

Hi,

What iview that you executed? If it is BI Portal iview such as WEB BEx or BI Integrated Planning and BI Portal is implemented on java add-in (ABAP and J2EE have same SID), then please do following checks:

1. These parameters are implemented on SAP profile

icm/host_name_full

icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80<xx>

2. Check if HTTP services is available via tcode SMICM --> Goto --> Services

Make sure HTTP service is active

3. Tcode SICF --> ensure this service is activated

Default host --> sap --> bw

All services under 'bw' should be activated

4. Login to Portal --> System Administration --> System Cofiguration --> System landscape

select the system for your BW and perform test connection. Ensure the test connection all are okay

especially connector

Hope this helps

Could you please tell me whether your portal is on BI/BW (ABAP+J2EE) or on separate J2EE engine?

If portal is on separate J2EE, the Web AS Host Name on System Landscape configuration for BW in Portal --> System administration --> System Configuration should be pointing to Portal

So entries should be:

Web AS Host name: <Portal full host name>: <J2EE port>

Web AS path: /irj/portal

If portal is on J2EE add-in of BW/BI, The WEB AS host name should be pointing to BI/BW ABAP engine and ABAP HTTP port

Web AS Host Name: <BI/BW ABAP full host name>:<ABAP HTTP port showing in SMICM>

Web AS Path: /sap/bw/BEx

Hope this helps solving your issue

I was having the same issue with BW reports on the portal and this is to confirm that William Lee's answer provided the solution.

Thanks!
