Dear Experts,

Please clarify the following

1 Can a product can be assigned to Multiple Product Categories which are in different category hierarchy

2 Is it necessary that always a BADI needs to be implemented for a decoupled scenario

3 Can we assign SLAAPPROVER attribute to the Organization Level(Department). In such case, how system will behave. Will it assign the SLAAPPORVER defined at Organization level to all the people assigned to that Department

Thank you,

Regards,

Ramakrishna

1 Can a product can be assigned to Multiple Product Categories which are in different category hierarchy

Product is created based on product categrory so same product can not be assigned to different categories.

2 Is it necessary that always a BADI needs to be implemented for a decoupled scenario

Yes ,BADI implementation is needed for decoupled scenarion in SRM 5.0 as there is customzing node in SPRO where you decide whether it is ex-classic/classic.

3 Can we assign SLAAPPROVER attribute to the Organization Level(Department). In such case, how system will behave. Will it assign the SLAAPPORVER defined at Organization level to all the people assigned to that Department

Thank you Rajan,

As the Decoupled is a combination of Classic & Stand alone, how is the customizing activation of Extended classic scenario will come in to picture here.

Can you please elaborate. Can't we use decoupled without activation of BADI at all??

Thank you,

I feel decoupled Scenario is mixture of classic and ex-classic scenario because SRM 210 course material defined decoupled scenario this way.

In this case you have to keep system in Ex-classic and implement series to BADI to create backend documents .

There is another way to looking decoupled scenario is combination of Standalone system and doinf Invoice activity in backend system, you can check this link
