Hello Everyone,

We are using EP 7.0 SP14 with External ITS and backend r/3 4.7.

When we are trying to execute the Reports from our Portal without giving Selection Criteria, then we are giving the below error:

But we can able execute the same Reports from backend r/3 without Selection Criteria without any problems.

Also some of the columns are Truncating when accessing from Portal. But in backend r/3 the columns are not truncating.

Please help me in resolving the above issues. Thank You.

Hello Sridhar,

Please increase the MaxCtxtSize for this ITS instance. You can use the ITS ADM instance to do it. Please see note 67225 for more information.

Thank you for your help.

We applied the SAP Note, but still we are facing the same issue, do we need to increase ITS RAM and later need to the increase the MaxCtxtSize to some more?

Regarding Column Truncatiion: Some of the column values are truncating when accessing from Portal. But in backend r/3 the columns are not truncating.

Please suggest me.

Hello Sridhar,

You should look at the ITS trace files to see if the memory container is still the issue. If so, keep increasing it until the issue is resolved.

As for column truncation...is this in a table? Can the column be resized?

We have decreased the thread size and session. At the same time we have increased context size. Then it working fine. Thank You for your support.

Regarding Column Truncation, its happening in Tables and also in Headings.

We found one SAP Note ( 0000842701 ), please suggest will this Note will solve our problem.
