I have to assign "Alternation calculation type ( Routine)" for rebate condition type BO02 in my pricing

procedure but the field is GREYED OUT , cannot key any number.

Is it usually greyed out ( blocked) , if yes , why?

How do i assign AltCty ?

Thanks,

Manish

Dear Manish,

I have checked in my system. It has not greyed out.

Rebate will be calculated on the basis of sale volume,..

I think there won't be any necessity to add ALt calculation Type against a rebate condition types..

In general requirement 24 will be assigned to the rebate condition types(accrued only in bliiling).

Answer to your qn : You can add Alt Calculation type against your rebate condition type in the pricing procedure..

Thanks,

Hi Venkatesh,

It depends upon Condition class of your condition type. If it is "Expense reimbursement" which we

usually use for rebates, it won't allow u to use any AltCon type in Pricing procedure. This is Standard SAP feature.

I am in 4.7 version where it is blocked, i don't know about 6 or 7 versions,

Thanks,

Manish

Hi ,

I am facing the same problem, I need to have some alternate calculation against the rebate condition. The columns are getting greyed out.

However, while working in sandbox server i was successful in creating routines and attached it to the rebate conditions, But in development server the columns are greyed out.

I am using ECC 6, and am quite confused. Is there any note on the same?

Manish, Have u figured out any solution?

Kindly suggest

Santanu,

Pls check yr sandbox, how condition class of yr condition type is set up.

It depends upon Condition class of your condition type. If it is "Expense reimbursement" which we

usually use for rebates, it won't allow u to use any AltCon type in Pricing procedure. This is Standard SAP feature.

I am planning to take user exit for my requirement. I am using 4.7, don't know about ECC 6.

Thanks,

Manish

Hi,

check ur customization settings, it will never be greyed out in V/08, pricing procedures.

any pricing procedure will be allowed to give any value in any column.

so there is no question of greyed out.
