CRM IDES SR2 Installation Issue: FSL-02106 Path Contains reserved character

Hi,

I am in the preparation steps for CRM IDES SR2 on Windows 2003 Server with MS SQL 2005.

Windows 2003 Server has SP2, and MS SQL 2005 it's on SP3.

While selecting the SAP Systems -Software Units, and after clicking next i am receiving the following error message:

FSL-02107 Path component contains reserved character (':'): C:NaN.exe

This are the last log entries in the log file.

I have read the posts in the Forums related with this issue with no success. Tried to modify the registry entry, which i dont have because i havent installed anything yet.

Verified that the JAVA_HOME variable is in place with the right path, same with the Path environment variable. Verified that the variables does not contain any special character by accident.

Moved the installation files to C: drive and rename the folder names taking out any special character to avoid that anything related with long path names or path with strange characters are causing any problem with my installation, but did not work =(

If somebody can reply with any suggestion i will really appreciate it 😃

I am not sure but what is the path of JAVA_HOME

JAVA_HOME should be C:\j2sdk1.4.2_12

and path should be C:\j2sdk1.4.2_12\bin
