stock uploading in WM

Hi Gurus,

My client implemented SAP 2 years before. Now we are implementing WM for the same client.

Here my doubt is in IM already stock is available in all the storage locations.

How we move that stock from IM to WM.

Can someone give me complete steps please.

Since you already have stock at IM level follow these steps:

1. Create a dummy SLOC or use existing empty SLOC.

2. Move stock to this SLOC using mvnt type 311

3. Activate WM for current storage location,Deactivate TR creation for 311 mvt type in WM, uncheck negative stock for intrem storage type (922 or 921)

4. Move stock back to WHS and create TOs using mvnt type 999 and transfer stock to respective storage bins.

Hi Hari

Following are the process steps.

1. Create the storage bins

2. Through LSMW assign the storage bins to the materials in material master WM view

3. Run Upload WM through LSMW, will automatically upload the materials to specified bins.
