unable to search for users in CUP

Hi Guru's

When I am tryin to create a request in CUP , I am unable to search for users , the search option doesnt return any values at all

I have checked my user data source which is LDAP, the connector is working fine , and I have the field mapping done etc ,but I still cannot search for users.

Any thought on this

Hey Kevin,

Drilldown upto the User ID field and give the same path in User ID field.

The complete User path may look like

"ou=people,dc=palto,dc=sap,dc=corp"

Hi Kevin,

I totally agree with Venky. Please check your user path and group path settings. If you just put even '*' in the group path, it would be ok but CUP would be need exact user path to search users. Talk to your LDAP administrator and he/she would be able to give you exact values for user path and group path.

Thanks for the quick response ,

my user path looks somehtinkg like this

User path : DC=unity

This connector is defined by my Basis guy ,I am not sure what wouldl be the compelte path

have you got an example ?

I guess I will have to check with teh guys who maintain the active directory ( our LDAP system )
