Error in CIC0

Dear All ,

I am Getting an Error While starting a CIC0. The Error is "Component CSEARCH_DISP assigned multiple times to framework FW_STD_06" .

This message is popped up as soon as you enter the transaction CIC0 and hit Enter.

Please suggest me as how to get over with this error so as to have smooth functioning of the same.

Dear Nikhil,

This must be the first time when you use tcoce CIC0, you get the error.

Use tcode: PPOMW.

Here first create Org unit. Create position.

Assign position to the org unit.

Assign user (SAP user id) to this position.

Assign CIC profile to the position.

You will not get error after doing this and logging in SAP with the above used user id.

Thanx for your feedback.

As per your sugesstion I have completed first 3 steps. But got stuck up with the last step i.e assigning a CIC profile to to the position created. From where do we assign this ?

Dear Nikhil,

Ok.

Now keeping cursor on Position, GO TO (menu bar) > Detail object > Enhanced object description

Here you will reach Maintain Object screen.

On the Active tab , scroll down to reach CIC profile. Click on CIC profile and choose CREATE/ Change.

On the new screen give profile : C_STD_06

Hi Nikhil,

Following are the steps which you need to follow. We have followed this whenever we get the above error.

In main system (MAM System),

1) In PPoMW, Add user as editor without telephony & editor with telephony

2) Create RFC destination for the user. Remember to provide program id, which needs to be identical to one added in step 4.

3) Thru SPRO, SAP Media->Advertising management -> Connection of media technical systems ->Assign the RFC destination.

In second system (MAM/C System) which you access thru CIC0 in main system,

4) In SPRO, SAP Media->Advertising management -> General Settings-> Assign user profile and program id to user.
