Configuring Different Types of Alerts using Alert Configuration

Hi All,

I need to know about what are the different types of alerts which can be setup, steps for the configuration and related documents for the same.

Is setting up of alert possible only for information purpose (in case of no error occurs and need to inform user about specific details of the transaction through mails).

Alerts could be specific to XI which are thrown based on some IE or AE related errors. Or it could be configures as CCMS which could also then monitor your complete system.

In XI, you may simply use email adapter to send your information to mail receivers.
