PGI BLOCK

Dear Guru's,

We have a reqiurement where client want to have block at PGI but delivery should get saved.

This block is for quality inspection purpose. Even if delivery is created, when user try to do the PGI system should not allow it unless some authorised person release the block.

Is it possible?

Pl guide.

Go to material master and select "Quality Management" view and execute. There click on "Insp. setup" and again press F5. Maintain Inspection Type 04 and save.

Now create a sale order and try to do PGI. System will not allow to do PGI unless QI is cleared for that material.

But still want to know whether any possibility to block PGI at SD level?

Go to OVLS, select sl.no.01 and see whether tick is there for the box "Goods". Assign this 01 in sale order against the field "Delivery Block".

This will prevent posting goods issue unless that block is removed from sale order.

You can try this,

Delivery Block

Go through this IMG path do the settings relevant for delivery block

SPRO->IMG>Logistics Execution>Shipping>Deliveries-->Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping

-->Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria - here you can define the delivery block and Blocking areas

As per your requierment you need to block at PGI level so you keep check mark for Goods issue check box.

For Example:- You can see here Delivery block 41- as QM Block but it blocks picking as well as PGI.

-->Delivery Blocks - Here you need to assign delivery block to your delivery document.

system should not allow it unless some authorised person release the block.

You take help of BASIS people regarding authorisation

You can go for the credit check for the customer which can be done at three levels i.e order,delivery and PGI
