Operating system call connect failed (error no. 10060).
Communication error, CPIC return code 017, SAP return code 236.
> CPI-C function: CMINIT(SAP).
what might be the cause and how to solve this.. I found some of the CPIC function has failed.
Can i have solution? let me know..
Thanks & Regards,
Vivek
HI Vivek,
Also check if the IGS patch is not applicable forgot to mention that.
Note 1499700 - IGS creates CPIC trace indicating a connection refused

Good day,
With reference to SAP Note Note 63347 - List: CPIC error codes
your error code is listed as GW_CONNECT_FAILED 236 No connection to the gateway
GW_CONNECT_FAILED 236 No connection to the gateway
So if I were you I would investigate in this direction.
Kind Regards,
Johan

Hai,
This is a network issue, double click on the message in SM21 to get the return code details which
will throw some light on the error.
CPI-C function: CMINIT(SAP), here CMINIT means Initialize connection, system tries to Initialize some connection and fails hence the error.

Hi,
This error indicates Connection timed out. A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Please Check out SAP Note : 421558, it may help you.
With Regards,
Krishna.
