STD Milestone/Grouping

Dear all,

I have one doubt.

Is Milestone (Standard and grouping) both will work same function.

Can any one expalin in which business scenario it will play.

In Milestone Std. Milestone normally used to copy / create new operative milestone. Really not worked on Milestone grouping but mostly it is used for Earned Value Analysis.

It seems grouping is only to group the std. milestone for information purpose. Dont think other than this there is any other usage.

Hi Chandra,

We can assign several milestones as milestone groups to one object.

For this, we need to define relevant milestone groups in customizing through transaction OPT6. And then assign standard milestones to those milestone groups. Standard milestones are created through CN11.

Not worked much on it. Hope this will help.
