Unable to download java-1_4_2-ibm-1.4.2_sr12-0.4.x86_64.rpm

Hi linux expert,

i have this problem.

Following the Note 1172419, i have to donwload these two files from the address:

http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=gk6AnDkHzc0~

java-1_4_2-ibm-1.4.2_sr12-0.4.x86_64.rpm

java-1_4_2-ibm-devel-1.4.2_sr12-0.4.x86_64.rpm

I need them to install Sap sneak preview 2004s on linux. Is it right ?

I've already an account (that works) on novell site (i've downloaded the SLES10VSAP vmware virtual system), but when i try to download the first one i receive this error :

Error: we are unable to complete the download at this time. Please try submitting your download request again or try again later.

You do not have the correct privileges to download the file.

Someone of you can tell me where i can download that two files? Is there a public ftp with no usr/pwd, where i can download its? Can you provide me a direct link ?

If you're on 64bit - yes. Otherwise you need the 32bit Sun JDK.

You need a maintenance contract with Novell for this after the 30 days period.

Hi Markus.

I think i don't have any maintenance contract with novell.

This means that i cannot download Java VM and i cannot install the sap sneak preview on linux?

I'm triyng to download the JVM from the IBM site. Is it the same ?

You've confirmed to me that download JVM from IBM site is the same. I proceed with the download and tomorrow i'm going to install it.
