changing the user profile

hi all,

i would like to make changes to my user profile but when i go to edit i could not make changes to it ... could anybody tell me how this is done ... i want to remove my personal mail details over there..

Goto-> My profile->update profile .

now remove ur mail details and press save changes button, then press continue on top left,

dear,

thanks for this but when i go there the personalmail field is marked as required with red star and i have removed my personal mail and put one dash in that and saved changes over ther ... but still it appears on my business card ... ?

Uncheck the check box for the mail address provided.

Then only you will be able to see your mail address and others can't.

It usually takes about a day for the changes to take effect. So just cool your heels over it.

Yes Mail primary mail is a mandatory field so u cant remove but u can only hide it, so do as gautham suggested.

Simply Click on Your Control Panel >Click on Edit from Your Profile(Right Hand side)>Just select the Hide Radio Button. And Wait for A day.
