Hi Friends,

By mistake I had deleted software component SAP BASIS 7.0 from the IR screen, and I guess coz of that now it is not showing list of adapter in communication channel and giving following error:

Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information: com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata BC | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System (SAP BASIS 7.00), type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: Object Adapter Metadata BC | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System not found

can any one provide me with name of TPZ file that I need to install again.

Thanks,

Brij.......

Hi brijesh,

you have to Import the .TPZ Software Component Version SAP Basis which will comes with Installation Package or download it from service market place https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/sp-stacks based on your SP level of PI.

1. Copy SAP BASIS 7.0 .tpz to directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

2. On your SAP XI host, call transaction SXMB_IFR.

3. Choose Repository (Design).

4. Choose u2192 Tools u2192 Import Design Objects

2. Choose the file /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import XI SAP_BASIS.tpz

5. Import the file.

I faced a similar error today when transporting communication channels imported from SAP's predefined content for HR Norway AltInn configuration from the Sandbox (PI 7.11) to the Dev (PI 7.11) systems. I updated the version of the adapter to SAP BASIS 7.11 on the objects in the source system and performed the export and import and this resolved the error.

Hope this helps someone who faces such a problem in the future.

Cheers,

Girish
