Increasing Maximum No. of Articles in Promotion

Dear All

I am basically a SD consultant and quiet new to Retail environment

Presently with one of our client in tcode VBG1 the max no of articles in a promotion no is restricted to 990

If the no goes above 990 then we have define them as another promotion

Is there any way out in standards to increase the limit to more than 990

Also provide me some good links where i can have a good knowledge on the Retail process both MM part and Mainly SD part like Promotions,bonus buys and sales price calculation and all

Hi Raja,

Create a promotion through wak1 in discounts tab(last tab), you can enter Articles & Merchandise categories under the Last tab ie Discounts.

You can read SAP IRT 320 for more info on Sales price cal, bonus buys, promotions etc.

Hi Raja,

You are creating a artricle group in VBG1 for Bonus buy..not for promotion.You need to create one more article group.
