CCM Questions?

Hi,

Please let me know below questions?

1) All SAP CCM components can be on same server where EBP is installed?

2) OCI is used only for external catalogues or can be used internal catalogues also?

Hi

OCI - is data exchange between srm and catalog applications (internal/external catalogs too).

OCI has inbound and outgoing parameters. SRM supports only oci complaince catalogs.

you can define all your catalogs define external webservices in SPRO node

When it comes to CCM installation, can we install TREX in the same server of CCM/EBP. Generally in the architecture diagrams of SRM, TREX is always shown out of EBP/CCM system and RFC is shown.

In this context, can you please let's know your views

Hi Ramakrishna

The TREX can be installed in the same server as SRM and CCM CAT, this is known as the 'All in One Deployment'. In very large deployments (millions of items in procurement catalogs) it would be advisable to house the trex and CSE on their own dedicated server with their own resources.
