Setting SDM parameters in the NetWeaver 2.0.5 version

Hi,

In the NetWeaver documentation and the examples, I should connect to the SDM by using the:

Windows -> Preferences -> Software Deployment Manager menu.

This menu does not exist in my IDE.

How can I add to the preferences the Software Deployment Manager option? Or should I set the SDM parameters (host & port) in other tab?

Ho Yoel,

Christian is right, the SDM of the configurated J2EE engine is used, the SDM config in the Developer Studio described in some older documentations is gone.

Hi Yoel,

you have to enter the SDM credentials in the tab "SAP J2EE Engine". There you can enter Message Server Host and Port.
