what is the difference between stop and stutdown in SAPMMC console ?
Hi,
Stop -> stop a server node or the central instance. The control framework still runs..
Shutdown -> stop all server nodes, the central instance and the control framework.
Control Framework == JControl and JLaunch; the programs necessary to get the configuration data out of the database and start (and monitor) the CI and server nodes.
