SPM 5.3 - FF Owner issue

Hi everyone,

We are experiencing an issue with the configuration of firefighter owners. Apparently an owner can assign firefighters to any FF ID regardless if he is the owner of such FF ID or not!

The configuration parameters "Firefighter Owner Additional Authorization" and "Controller Additional Authorization" are set to YES, so it shouldn't be possible for an owner to assign a FFID to a firefighter unless he IS the owner of such FFID.

Any ideas of what might be the problem?

Hi Pablo,

The behaviour of this configutration has been changed in SP05. See SAP Note [1286000|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1286000].

Hello Pablo,

Well these configuration parameters are working perfectly.

You are facing issue, reason being Firefighter Administrator role is assigned to these Owners.

Can you please check all ZVFAT_000* auth object and let me know what are values maintained for ACTVT.

You can either check this in PFCG or in SUIM

What SP are you on? I don't think these configuration parameters actually worked until SP04 or 05.
