Smartform In Landscape

Hello Everybody,

I have created a label of size 6X4 inches.

I want the label to be printed in landscape. But thats not happening.

I have set the printer in protrait. Can someonet tell me what has to be done.

All the help is appreciated.

Are you trying to print to a Zebra printer? I have not be able to accomplish this myself. On page forty (40) of this document from Zebra it states that this is not possible, but they provide a work around.

I think you're using a zebra printer.

In this case you have to work around.

And to redesign your layout.

A zebraprinter does not really has a portrait and landscape.

But you can rotate every field.

the statement which is used for that is

^FWR

Only for barcodes you have lot of other rotate statements

You can also rotate a font with ^A0.

Hi

You can achieve the landscape format in smartforms

Click on page>output options tab>there you can find options landscape and portrait format.

Thank you for responding.

I have used that option. Its making the feilds display in Landscape.

But the entire label and tables are getting printed in protrait.

Can you tell me how to handle this issue please?

hi,

set the page as landscape. to do this u have to select page node and click output options tab page and select the landscape radio button.

In the smartform, for the particular page which you want to print in Landscape?? Did you change the setting there?? Check the PAGE attributes in the smartform. Just double click on the page and you will find the Output Options tab, you can change the format of the page there.
