Hi Experts,
We are performing a client copy for the first time in QA.
(Ex: Client 500 to 600)
We are aware of the copy procedure theorotically but unaware of the database size estimates to be made.
Also what are all the pre-checks to be done before starting a client copy?
Request you please help us out urgently.

Please refere SAP Note 118823 on how to determine the size of the Source Client.
Also refer note 552711,which should answer all your questions on the clinet copy.

hello,
you need to make sure no users should be at time of client copy. This is local client copy.
You can simply schedule it in background. Also there should be enough space in your archive directory.
Or you can schedule archive backup to move log files during client copy.
Otherwise you need to manually move archive logs...
