error on calculating cost of activity

hi

i got an error " no control record for activity type bp01/301005/20 in version 000/2008 activity planning/qty planning" so any one can help me in solving this problem

hi

i have checked the error and the problem is solved but now am getting another error which is as follows

No activity prices exist for 0000301005/20

Diagnosis

You want to charge activity 20 from cost center 0000301005. However, you have not planned the activity for the

combination 0000301005/20 in actual version "000"

or you have not fixed any activity prices in activity planning

Procedure

Plan the activity price for activity type 20 on cost center 0000301005.

Note that only prices of version "000" are included in the cost allocations.

but i have already assigned price for the cost center/activity type 0000301005/20

so what can i do next

i have created an activity type 20 validity from 06.03.2009 to 31.12.9999 with activity unit d as days atyp 1 (Manual entry, manual allocation)

and a cost center 301005 validity from 06.03.2009 to 31.12.9999.

and kp26 maintained as follows

version 0

from period 1

to period 1

fiscal year 2009

cost center 301005

activity type 20

acttyp planed act distr key capacity distr key unit price(fixed) plan price indicator

20 2 2 D 1000 1

this r some of the details

actually i want to calculate the planned cost in terms of days say for example in a particular activity it is assigned 8 hrs then the planned cost will be 8000.

similarly if a an employee is working for 8 hrs or 7 hrs in a day then also the cost will b calculated in base of days not time

can any one tell me what settings to b changed so that i can calculate cost in basis of day not time.

as per your information :

version 0

from period 1

to period 1

fiscal year 2009

you have done price planning for 1st period of fiscal yr 2009 only...and ur error shows 2008..so check ur project date it might have fiscal yr 2008..if it is so change to 2009(for which price planning is done)... also do the price planning for 1 to 12th period.

Have u done price planning for the activity type for that version, fiscal yr and period..check in KP26.
