Brrestore error

Hi Gurus ,

I try to restore the online backup from disk to R/3 server using the following command .

brrestore -b beabascl.and -m full

But i got the following error message .

Kindly tell me how can i restore this backup .

Hi,

Please check permission of 'E:\oracle\PRD\sapbackup\backPRD.log' . Try to give full permission.

Hi juan ,

Actually i took the backup from one R3 server using the external harddisk , Now i want to restore this backup to another server . As per backup below i mentioned the folder details at my external hard disk . There are two foldrers . 1. PRD 2. beabgscl .

Inside the beabgscl folder contains all the backed up datas

Inside the PRD folder contains backprd.log , initPRD.sap , beabgscl.and , initPRD.ora , spacePRD.log ,

SPFILEPRD.ORA .

So Kindly tell me how can i restore this backup up data .

Hi,

Make sure external hard drive gets the same drive letter when you reconnect. Give a try.

I see now... most likely your new server has a different file structure. In order to avoid this issue edit the beabascl.and and point "<driver>:\oracle\PRD\sapbackup\" to the right location.

Either the file not exist of you don't have enough rights
