Hi Experts,
Earlier in my Scenario, a system used to send a file which i used to receive it through NFS in SAP-XI. Now due to change in Scenario, i have to pull the file from the FTP System and the XI branches it and sends it across to two systems. Im using a File Adapter and using the FTP as transport protocol and message protocol as File coz the file sent is in XML format only.
I have configured the details of the File adapter and the file gets successfully deleted from the FTP but in SXMB_MONI along with branching it creates an error which says
Error during XML => ABAP conversion (; error ID: ; ( )) PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA Error during XML => ABAP conversion (Request Message; error ID: CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT; (/1SAI/TXS00000000000000000002 XML Bytepos.: 0 XML Path: Error Text: System expected the element '
Im unable to figure out what is going wrong with my implementation.
Kindly help me in this regard.
Thanks,
Arkesh

The problem was found to be with the proxy which was sending data from XI to AII.

Hi Arkesh,
What is ur receiver systems?
if u r using proxy communication in the receiver side then this may help u..
If u have changed your design time objects and haven't generated ur proxies again, u might get this error. Try regenrating ur Proxy objects again and don't forget to activate them.
XML Path: Error Text: System expected the element ' After this sentence you will know for which field error occurs...
please check field attributes in sender and receiver system...
This thread may help u..

Hi Arkesh,
Can you please let us know which scenario you are doing and what is the Receiver format.
Which mapppings have you used, so that we get better idea on the error and try to find a solution for the same.

Hi All Experts,
Let me explain the complete scenario to you. Earlier, the sender system used to send XML files which we used to collect using file adapter NFS protocol but now the requirement has changed and they are asking to pick the file from the FTP System.
The XML file comes into XI, gets processed and mapped using Java Mappings and then gets branched to send it to two systems, one to DataBase (SQL Server) and the other copy to another SAP application (SAP AII) residing on the same SAP Server for further processing.
Kindly let me know what can be done here in this regard.
Thanks,
Arkesh
Looks like a mapping error.
Are you using ABAP Mapping?
Receiving Systems in your scenario?

Hi,
I think this error is due to ID part, check it complete configuration.
