Hello Basis Gurus,

Similarly like we can divert a background job to a particular application server, can we do the same with the 'process chains' in BW??

Kindly advice.

Thanks & Regards,

Kunal.

HI,

I am referring to background jobs, not to dialog logon...

Hi Kunal,

Yes, that can be done while sceduling the process chain. or in the process chain maintenance. Consult with your BW consultants for this, they need to give the server name as the destination where the job will run.

Thanks,

Debasis.

Hi Debasis,

I consulted the BW consultants.

What they told was that they can control only the first 'block' in the process chain i.e. only the first job, regarding which application server to run upon.

After that the other 'blocks'/jobs, can run on any server.

Kindly advice whether from Basis side there is any provision to do this.

Thanks & Regards,

Kunal.
