Hi,

I am trying to import the SAP Global Datatypes (SAP GLOBAL) into PI 7.0 version and unable to do so. If someone has experience importing SAP GDT's in PI 7.0. Can you please let me know if you have faced similar issue while importing?

Thanks,

Vinayak Kamath

Hi Vijay,

There is no option in PI7.0 where in we can import the Global data types that are created in PI 7.1 and used.

The ways of reusing the datatypes with in PI7.0 is

with in a SWCV :

Copying objects from one name space to another or importing avaliable XSDs and WSDLS as Exeternal definitions .

Across two differen namespaces:

Creating two datattypes each in their respective SCWV and creaing dependencies between them and making use of them.

Thanks,

Ram.

Hi Vinayak,

The GDT's are available from the version PI 7.1. Please go through the article in the link given below where GDT's are explained more in detail.

Hope this helps.
