Hi,
I am trying to import the SAP Global Datatypes (SAP GLOBAL) into PI 7.0 version and unable to do so. If someone has experience importing SAP GDT's in PI 7.0. Can you please let me know if you have faced similar issue while importing?
Thanks,
Vinayak Kamath
Hello Vinayak,
importing the GDT's into a Integration Repository (means XI 3.0 or PI 7.0) is not possible.
The data structures to take advantage of this feature is available with PI 7.1 and higher.
The tpz contains the minimum required release and if this is not met it wont be shown in
the import window.

Thomas

Hi Shankar,
I downloaded the XI Content SAPGLOBAL Software component from Services.sap.com website which carries the SAP GDT's. This ZIP file carries the tpz file which was placed under SAP Directory.
I tried to import this package in PI 7.0 using Import Design objects option. But were not able to find the copied tpz file.
Any ideas? Any pointers to import the SAP GDT's in PI 7.0 is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Vinayak Kamath
