Error processing your request, Request no: 1 in stage : RE_APPROVAL

Hi Team,

I am facing the problem:When i get an email notification for Role_Approval i am not directed towards the AE request by clicking on the Link.

Also,The approver is not able to approve the request when he logs in.

" Error processing your request, Request no: 1 in stage : RE_APPROVAL."

Please suggest.

I have gone through message for SMTP by William and Alpesh.

It seems the Redirectl url and applicatio url are mandatory.Even i was not able to save without entering the links.Now i have enter the application URL.

I have already altered the table VIRSA_AE_ERMCONFIG.( Made it NULL)

Charukesh,

The application and redirection URL fields are not mandatory but act as required fields. This is a bug and it is being fixed in SP7.

The error you get is either due to CUP can not find the next approver or CUP can not save the request status. Please post the logs here.

Hi

Please make sure you have setup exit services for RE in AE @ configuration > Miscallaneous .

Under the RE text box please fill in the exit services . You can get the webservice from SAP Net weaver initial screen.

Once you have done tht activate the exit URL .

Thanks for your reply.There was a mismatch in exit services.

The approver is able to Approve the request now.

I was using SP6..will upgrade to SP7.Thanks.
