SAPScript - 1 LN (LINES) is how many CM (Centimeters) ?

May I know 1 LN = X CM?

Or other unit measurements like PT to LN , PT to CM ?

If you need a conversion you have to go to sapscript form painter (SE71). Go to page windows and open Utilities(m) - Convert Units of Measure. There is a conversion utility for all measurements within this form.

Conversion factors

1 TW = 1/20 PT

1 PT = 1/72 IN

1 IN = 2.54 CM

1 CM = 10 MM

1 CH = height of a character relative to the CPI specification in the form header

1 LN = height of a line relative to the LPI specification in the form header

hi,

Your requirement is not clear, because the conversion from LINE TO CM is not specific or standard.

Ex. A4, A3, B2 the following page formats, have lines of different length. Hence you cannot have standard specification for LINE TO CM.

In A4, one line can accommodate 87 app. char of size 12 and font TIMES ROMAN. Even this varies with font and size you are maintaining for your character.
