Custom Events in ALV

Hi All,

How can we create a event for ALV so that it can be fired/called when required.

If I create a button and create a method to execute some piece of code. If I hide the button on ALV then

this will not be triggered. How can we create the custom events and call them internally with out any UI elements like buttons, links etc. If I create a button and attach some method to it. But this button should not be shown. And the button event should be triggered internally.

Up on button click on the View, I wanted to call these respective events.

For Ex:

Consider 2 ALVs in tabs and one common SAVE button.

Based on the messages (errors) for each ALV that respetctive Event of ALV has to be fired.

So that respective messages are shown.

How can we do achieve.

Any workaround is highly appreciated.
