Hello,
Once the archived data (say purchase orders or time sheets or sales documents) reaches its end of life, the archive repository can use a retention period mechanism to dispose of the files to ensure that overall retention is enforced. The files are deleted, everything is fine. How is SAP informed of the fact that the file has been deleted and the pointer etc. are no longer valid? What about products like PBS that build indexes etc. to provide access to the archived ata?
Thank you,
Mike
