Scheduling Backgound job

Former Member

Hi All,

I want to run a background job to run every three minutes between 3:00 to 4:30 PST every day.

Can we run this kind of backgroud job?

Where to give end time? I am not able to give perticular time period only at which back ground job should run.

Could you please respond to this mail?

Thanks

Anil

Havent treid this scenario, but please try the below steps and check

SM36

Define the job with the step

Then click on "Start condition"

Click on "Date/Time" give start time and end time

Select "Periodic Job" check box

Click on "Period Values" and select "Other" and then input "3" MINUTES. Save the job and do a test run to check if its all set.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Hi Anil,

You can specify the job start time not the end time in the job wizard.Go to "SM36" and click on the jobwizard condition ,there you can define steps, print parameters and you can specify the start time in Date/time radio button.I am not sure that you can select end time.
