All experts,

We are using Functioanl area and assigning the same to Project Def and WBS

Our Settlement process is through RA. After posting I am unable to see the functional area .

all other organizational data ( Co.Code, Bus. Area etc) are transferring.

Am I missing anything?

Hi,

Functional area you can see in BSEG Table and field name is FKBER.

You can derive functional area by using substitution rules in OBZN same as PS substitution rule OPSN.

Kindly check the table whenever you have posted the FI document.

Be Careful while deriving FA does have a strategy to pick the value.

Substitution----G/L account----WBS master data

If you are activating functional areas, kindly check if there are any postings without FI document.

(eg: Internal Activity allocation, CATS).

If you wanna capture at that time also include Cost elements in your substitution rules of OBZN

Thanks for your help.

What I was asking is why I couldn't see the FA in Additional account assignmnet area , when you do FB03?

All other org. data like Bus. Area, Profit Center, Trading partner's business area, Plant etc are visible here. Functiona area is still black.

Any Advise?
